# HOW TO EDIT THIS FILE:
# The "handy ruler" below makes it easier to edit a package description.
# Line up the first '|' above the ':' following the base package name, and
# the '|' on the right side marks the last column you can put a character in.
# You must make exactly 11 lines for the formatting to be correct. It's also
# customary to leave one space after the ':' except on otherwise blank lines.

haskell-temporary: The functions for creating temporary files and directories in the
haskell-temporary: base library are quite limited. The unixutils package contains some
haskell-temporary: good ones, but they aren't portable to Windows. This library just
haskell-temporary: repackages the Cabal implementations of its own temporary file and
haskell-temporary: folder functions so that you can use them without linking against
haskell-temporary: Cabal or depending on it being installed.
